Asset Quality of the Credit Departments of Farmers' and Fishermen's Associations as of the End of October 2025

Agricultural Finance Agency , Ministry of Agriculture (the AFNA) has released that total deposits extended by the current 311 Credit Departments of Farmers' and Fishermen's Associations increased by NT$ 2.7 billion (US$0.088 billion) from NT$2,331 billion (US$75.807 billion) of the previous month and amounted to NT$2,333.7 billion (US$75.895 billion). Total outstanding loans increased by NT$ 6 billion (US$0.195 billion) from NT$1,572.9 billion (US$51.153 billion) of the previous month and amounted to NT$1,578.9 billion (US$51.348 billion) at the end of October 2025. Meanwhile, the NPLs of these credit departments totaled at NT$5.142 billion (US$0.1672 billion) which increased by NT$ 0.27 billion (US$0.0088 billion) from NT$4.872 billion (US$0.1584 billion) at the end of the previous month. The average NPL ratio of these credit departments increased by 0.02 percentage points and therefore rose to a figure of 0.33% from 0.31% of the previous month.
Of the 311 credit departments , 268 NPL ratio of less than 1%, of which 33 had NPL ratio of 0%, indicating that loan quality was quite high. The coverage ratios of allowances for NPLs decreased by 54.65 percentage points and therefore fell to a figure of 1,082.11% from 1,136.76% of the previous month.
The AFNA will continue to maintain a firm grasp of the operational situation at credit departments, and will strengthen oversight and guidance work to continue to assist credit departments to ensure sound operations, and to maintain the stable development of agricultural finance.
