Asset Quality of the Credit Departments of Farmers' and Fishermen's Associations as of the End of November 2025

Agricultural Finance Agency , Ministry of Agriculture (the AFNA) has released that total deposits extended by the current 311 Credit Departments of Farmers' and Fishermen's Associations increased by NT$ 3.1 billion (US$0.099 billion) from NT$2,333.7 billion (US$74.303 billion) of the previous month and amounted to NT$2,336.8 billion (US$74.401 billion). Total outstanding loans increased by NT$ 8.1 billion (US$0.258 billion) from NT$1,578.9 billion (US$50.271 billion) of the previous month and amounted to NT$1,587 billion (US$50.529 billion) at the end of November 2025. Meanwhile, the NPLs of these credit departments totaled at NT$5.187 billion (US$0.1651 billion) which increased by NT$ 0.045 billion (US$0.0014 billion) from NT$5.142 billion (US$0.1637 billion) at the end of the previous month. The average NPL ratio of these credit departments kept flat at 0.33%.
Of the 311 credit departments , 269 NPL ratio of less than 1%, of which 30 had NPL ratio of 0%, indicating that loan quality was quite high. The coverage ratios of allowances for NPLs decreased by 4.53 percentage points and therefore fell to a figure of 1,077.58% from 1,082.11% of the previous month.
The AFNA will continue to maintain a firm grasp of the operational situation at credit departments, and will strengthen oversight and guidance work to continue to assist credit departments to ensure sound operations, and to maintain the stable development of agricultural finance.
