Asset Quality of the Credit Departments of Farmers' and Fishermen's Associations as of the End of July 2025

Agricultural Finance Agency , Ministry of Agriculture (the AFNA) has released that total deposits extended by the current 311 Credit Departments of Farmers' and Fishermen's Associations increased by NT$ 9.5 billion (US$0.318 billion) from NT$2,309.2 billion (US$77.189 billion) of the previous month and amounted to NT$2,318.7 billion (US$77.507 billion). Total outstanding loans increased by NT$ 1.4 billion (US$0.047 billion) from NT$1,564.1 billion (US$52.283 billion) of the previous month and amounted to NT$1,565.5 billion (US$52.33 billion) at the end of July 2025. Meanwhile, the NPLs of these credit departments totaled at NT$4.682 billion (US$0.1565 billion) which increased by NT$ 0.038 billion (US$0.0013 billion) from NT$4.644 billion (US$0.1552 billion) at the end of the previous month. The average NPL ratio of these credit departments kept flat at 0.3%.
Of the 311 credit departments , 267 NPL ratio of less than 1%, of which 36 had NPL ratio of 0%, indicating that loan quality was quite high. The coverage ratios of allowances for NPLs decreased by 6.45 percentage points and therefore fell to a figure of 1,177.62% from 1,184.07% of the previous month.
The AFNA will continue to maintain a firm grasp of the operational situation at credit departments, and will strengthen oversight and guidance work to continue to assist credit departments to ensure sound operations, and to maintain the stable development of agricultural finance.
