Asset Quality of the Credit Departments of Farmers' and Fishermen's Associations as of the End of June 2025

Agricultural Finance Agency , Ministry of Agriculture (the AFNA) has released that total deposits extended by the current 311 Credit Departments of Farmers' and Fishermen's Associations increased by NT$ 9.1 billion (US$0.304 billion) from NT$2,300.1 billion (US$76.921 billion) of the previous month and amounted to NT$2,309.2 billion (US$77.226 billion). Total outstanding loans increased by NT$ 8.1 billion (US$0.271 billion) from NT$1,556 billion (US$52.037 billion) of the previous month and amounted to NT$1,564.1 billion (US$52.308 billion) at the end of June 2025. Meanwhile, the NPLs of these credit departments totaled at NT$4.644 billion (US$0.1553 billion) which increased by NT$ 0.015 billion (US$0.0005 billion) from NT$4.629 billion (US$0.1548 billion) at the end of the previous month. The average NPL ratio of these credit departments kept flat at 0.3%.
Of the 311 credit departments , 267 NPL ratio of less than 1%, of which 40 had NPL ratio of 0%, indicating that loan quality was quite high. The coverage ratios of allowances for NPLs decreased by 1.93 percentage points and therefore fell to a figure of 1,184.07% from 1,186% of the previous month.
The AFNA will continue to maintain a firm grasp of the operational situation at credit departments, and will strengthen oversight and guidance work to continue to assist credit departments to ensure sound operations, and to maintain the stable development of agricultural finance.
